Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for any updates about the new season, including whether or not Berlin would be returning.

When will Berlin release on Netflix?

Thanks to the most recent announcement from Netflix, we know that Berlin is coming to Netflix in December 2023.
In addition, we can exclusively reveal Netflix is eying a December 29th, 2023, the release date for season 1 of Berlin.

Berlin, played by Pedro Alonso, was a fan favorite in the first two seasons of the show, despite being one of the primary antagonists. He was believed to have died at the end of season 2, but the character made a surprise return in season 3, appearing in flashbacks and hallucinations. Fans have been hoping for a more substantial return for the character in season 6, and there have been several rumors suggesting that this might happen.

One of the most significant rumors about Berlin’s return is that he will appear in a series of flashbacks, which will reveal more about his backstory and his relationship with the other members of the gang. This theory is supported by a recent Instagram post from Pedro Alonso, which featured a photo of him on set wearing his signature white suit and sunglasses. The post was captioned “Back in the game,” which many fans have taken as a hint that Berlin will be back in some form.

Who’s behind and who will star in Berlin on Netflix?

Alex Pina will be returning to write the show. He’ll be working through his production company Vancouver Media. Atresmedia is also listed among the production companies.
Pina struck a deal with Netflix in July 2018 and renewed that deal in March 2022.

Another rumor is that Berlin will return as a twin brother, which would allow Pedro Alonso to play two different characters in the same season. This theory is supported by a scene in season 3, where Berlin mentions that he has a twin brother, although this was never explored further in the show. While this theory is intriguing, it remains to be seen whether or not it will come to fruition.

Finally, there have been rumors that Berlin could return as a ghost, appearing to the other members of the gang in visions or dreams. This theory is supported by the fact that several characters in the show have had visions or dreams of dead loved ones, including Rio and Nairobi.

While Berlin’s return is a hot topic among fans, there’s also plenty of news and rumors about the rest of the show’s cast and storyline. However, some characters’ fates remain uncertain after the events of season 5, and it’s unclear who will survive the final season.

What will Berlin be about?

Well, as the title suggests, we’ll focus on the titular character Berlin, also known as Andrés de Fonollosa.

There’s still a lot we don’t know about Berlin despite his backstory being explored in season 5. Including the fact there are 5 ex-wives, including Tatiana (played by Diana Gómez). He’d described his relationships in the series as the “5 times that he believed in love.”

Given that Berlin is, in fact, brothers with The Professor, we’ll likely explore their early years together. We also don’t have much information regarding their father dying or how he met Palermo (another lover of Berlin), Marsella, and Bogotá.

We may also see more of the heist Berlin made in Champs-Élysées, Paris where he stole 434 diamonds. We may also see more of his battle with Helmer Myopathy.

Overall, it’s still unclear exactly how Berlin will return in Money Heist season 6, but fans are excited to see what the writers have in store. With the show’s final season set to air in 2023, there’s still a lot of time for more news and updates to be revealed. One thing is for sure, though – the return of Berlin will undoubtedly be one of the most highly anticipated moments of the season.
